There is a certain expectation (that predictably will increase) on local small organisations and businesses to be responsible for it's own tourism sustainability, generation and marketing initiatives in what is becoming a competitive market as visitors to Scotland continues to decline.
One of those ways is to get online and help put Lochgilphead on the map, we have a number of websites already running which enables you to market your products and services to potential visitors and customers which should help attract visitors to the area.
Argyll can flourish, and look forward to marketing Lochgilphead for increased prosperity.

Lochgilphead | A New Future
Welcome to the first post in our brand new Lochgilphead blog.
While creating a number of key tourism information websites to help sustain tourism to rural communities, we have noticed a distinct lack of premium websites to develop tourism and consumer relations.
With competition for both day visitors, and families on highland holidays increasing and the share of visitors being fought hard between different destinations and counties, it's no longer acceptable to not have a premium web presence for a town or village.
Rural communities are presented with a difficult proposition when it comes to developing and financing these tourism initiatives, so as part of developing premium tourism websites throughout the West of Scotland including Oban, Lochgilphead, Tarbert, Campbeltown, Kintyre, Argyll and Loch Fyne we have begun work on sites for Lochgilphead and to help Lochgilphead's future sustainability.
This is the beginning of a more prosperous future for Lochgilphead and surrounding areas.
